THE FRANK E BOOMA POST 6 NEWSLETTER Founded 1919 December 2006 Commander -- Eugene Bragg COMMANDER’S MESSAGE Whenever we lose a friend it's not easy - but this month we lost two dedicated members of the Post 6 Family, John Barnes and Leo Matton - and I extend not only my personal condolences to their families but also on behalf of Post 6 for all their years of dedicated service. This Holiday Season, I invite you to reflect on the those things which might symbolize a world that is safe and settled for you-- and remember our service members that are away from home this season helping to provide us with a better world. We may not always agree on our methods, be it here or afar, but one thing is certain - our mission remains the same - concern and care for those serving and those who have served. Once again I thank all of you who came out to help by volunteering this past month.
