This is the beginning of a new year for Frank E. Booma, American Legion Post and I am hopeful that this will be a good year. First I want to speak on the newsletter. It has not been received by the membership in a timely fashion in the past. As adjutant I take full blame for this. As of this issue all future newsletters will be mailed on time. There will be a lot of Legion functions coming up this year. These functions will be noted in the newsletter and there will be bulletins posted in the Post Home, so be sure to check the Post Bulletin Boards.
From time to time I print in the Post bulletin that all Post, Auxiliary and Squadron members to keep their mailing addresses up to date. In the past year since the 2006 State Convention I have been mailing newsletters and membership cards and a lot of these are being returned. Reason being no forwarding address is sent to me. So please make certain in the future when you move to send an address change to your Post Adjutant, Auxiliary Secretary and/or Squadron Adjutant. Thanks.
To all Post Delegates, you will be required to attend all your meetings at the State Convention, give a report on the meeting at your first Post meeting after the State Convention, and then give a copy of your report to your Adjutant or Secretary to be placed on file in the Post Home.
George McCall, Post Adjutant

SQUADRON ADJUTANT’S MESSAGE
I wish all new Post, Auxiliary and S.A.L. officers a good and prosperous year. And I am looking forward to working with everyone. S.A.L. needs help running the Surf and Turf on the second Saturday of each month. If you are willing to help, see Commander Leo Peters or any S.A.L. officer. We still need members to pay their 2007 dues. I hope during Memorial Day that people remember our veterans, those that are dead and the ones still alive for giving us such a great country to live in.
Bob Prendergast, SAL Adjutant
